It is pretty well known in the world of gossip that British publications tend to be less reliable sources than their American counterparts. That being said, we here at Land Rover Houston North certainly trust British news organizations like Autocar. They seem to always have the scoop on the latest happenings at our favorite British automaker. Recently they reported that there is a very good chance that both the Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover Evoque could be getting RS versions added to the family.

Autocar seems to be suggesting that if the Range Rover Evoque does get an RS version, it will feature a variant of the current 2.0-liter turbocharged that can get up to 300 horsepower. We could expect to see some changes to the exterior as well most likely larger wheels and some cool edits to the body kit.

For the Range Rover Sport, we are reasonably convinced that an RS version would receive an upgraded version of the 5.0-liter V8 that could generate at least 542 horsepower. With an engine like that, this luxury SUV would be able to jet from 0-62 in just 4.2 seconds.

We will certainly be keeping our ears to the ground to pick up more info about the potential for some new RS models in the lineup of new Land Rover SUVs. If you have always wanted to try getting behind the wheel of one of our legendary vehicles then please visit us at 18205 Interstate 45 Houston, TX 77090 to take a test drive today.
