Coverage for Loaner Vehicles

Warranty coverage is exclusionary, meaning it covers any factory-supplied component of the Defender, Discovery, or Range Rover courtesy vehicle that is defective with the exception of those listed in the Coverage section of the Approved CPO "Passport To Service."

All advertised CPO vehicles - which these Active Courtesy Vehicles encompass - include a standard one-year extension to the factory warranty with unlimited mileage from the original in-service date. You can consider additional cost coverage for extended warranty protection. An optional two-year extension to the factory warranty or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, adds more peace of mind. Additional charges depend on the model. Warranty coverage is honored at authorized retailers, such as Land Rover Houston North, located along I-45 south of Cypress Creek.

Active vs. Retired Loaner Status

Courtesy vehicles fall under two umbrellas: "active" and "retired". Eventually, all of these Active Courtesy Vehicles showcased at Land Rover Houston North will switch status. Retired Courtesy Vehicles are grounded and taken out of loaner service to be made available for sale.

Active Courtesy Vehicles reflect in-use models that cannot currently be sold for financial reasons within the service loaner program. These models are "active" as they are being utilized as service courtesy loaners. These courtesy vehicles are required to be in loaner use for 120 days. Models with active status may become available in the next four months. Active is listed so our customers can see which models will be available in the future.
