Served up standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Land Rover's legendary four-wheel-drive system, the Discovery is available with your choice of one of two engine options.
The first is a supercharged 3.0-liter V6. Good for a glorious 340 horsepower, this drivetrain is the Discovery's default.
The other, a turbocharged V6 diesel, dishes out 254 horsepower. And while official fuel economy estimates have yet to be released, it's worth noting that the turbodiesel engine is expected to be the more efficient pick of the pair.
