September 8th Blood Drive
The Blood Center has begun collections but still needs a lot of help and support from the community. While there was an adequate supply to meet the needs of local healthcare facilities and patients prior to the storm, it reached critical levels due to the loss of 4,000 potential donations. Every day, they still have to collect another 1,000 to meet the needs of our community. The Blood Center has not returned to full collections capacity, meaning OUR upcoming drives will be crucial to replenishing that supply. Let's help them rebuild the blood supply!
