Based on the DC100 concept, officials at land rover are already getting excited for the model makeover. Gerry McGovern said in a recent statement that the new vehicle could, "do for Land Rover what the Evoque did for Range Rover."1 That means a large increase in the customer base and a big bump in sales numbers.
The Defender was pulled from production in 1996 but it has been sorely missed. Thanks to expert engineering and the creation and implementation of efficient Land Rover parts, we truly hope to be seeing more new Defenders on the streets of Houston.
