Key Differences Between Defender Models

Design

Seating & Number of Doors

The new Defender 90 is the only model from this family to have a two-door layout. All Defender 90 SUVs seat five travelers. The first-ever OCTA model is reserved for the new Defender 110, a traditional four-door SUV. Select new Defender 130 models for sale in Houston have third-row seating and now offer Captain's Chairs.

If you're headed to Discovery Green or the Houston Zoo, the Defender 110 can accommodate, as select models have the optional third row with room for up to seven. A Defender 130 seats up to eight passengers; select configurations have seven seats. The Defender 130 Outbound is unique for its five-passenger layout.

Cargo Space

Cargo space varies by Defender configuration. Defender 110 models with two rows of seats offer 34 to 79 cubic feet of cargo space, while the Defender 90 has 16 to 58 cubic feet of cargo space. Defender 130 models that seat eight passengers have a max cargo volume of 89 cubic feet and 15 cubic feet behind the third row.

Roof Loads & Ride Height

Roof loads vary by Defender model. The Defender 110 has a dynamic roof load rating of 370 pounds, compared to 260 pounds for the Defender 90.

Defender 110 OCTA models have a raised ride height compared to other Defender options.
